Texas Voters Approve Ban on Gay Marriage
I live in Houston and I have to say that the idea of a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage is pretty stupid. I voted against the proposition. I'm not at all Homosexual and I'm not for out right marriage. But I do belive that gay couples should be given the legal benifits that come from marriage. Like insurance coverage and the right to collect social security benfits from the partner. I think that there are alot more important issues to vote on than a ban on gay marriage.

The simple answer would be to ban all marriage. Since christians (and muslims, for that matter) are not allowed to live in sin they would eventually become extinct, leaving the world safe for rational people.
\"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn by the equal rights of others. I do not add \"within the limits of the law\', because law if often but the tyrant\'s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.\"-Thomas Jefferson.
