If you are using a charcoal filter on the exhaust fan that should work fine. These bulbs are great at removing the odor though! Just to give you an example. I smoked up my entire room with bong smoke until it was stinking pretty bad, I screwed one bulb into my lamp socket and left, 45 minutes later I came back and the air smelled nice and fresh. I had 10 plants with 4 bulbs over them and you couldn't smell them until you got very close to them(within a few feet) They screw into standard lightbulb sockets so you can use them with regular lighting fixtures. Now, though I only have a single female, 9 were males. With these 4 lights on her, it is hard to smell the buds even when you put your nose up to them! I would probably still go with the HPS, setup as it is proven to increase the yeild and bud density, but for anyone thinking about compact flouros, you should seriously take a look at these TiO2 ozonebulbs. They are worth the price.
sawleaf Reviewed by sawleaf on . 3rd tier Ok. The 3rd set of leaves are growing on my biggest plants. Probably about a week old, they are still wayyy over stretched, but they are being supported. Now under a 1151 lumen light which is like 100watts, really bright. in Warm white, 2700k. Apart from being over stretched, am I around the right kinda area? Rating: 5
