    Why is it necessary to be straight?

    Well, I think Garden Knowm hit it on the dot. But, in my words:

    Don't smoke just because you wanna get high, or if you're bored. Smoke if you're having a bad day. Don't act like an addict, thinking at work, *I wish I could smoke right now*. I know people that think that at school, and they end up smoking at school, and of course they get busted.

    Otherwise, I would just not smoke at all, theres very very few people here on this board that would quit smoking. Right now I have to quit, I was convinced for a day that I was never going to smoke again. That day was yesterday. As soon as I can, I know I'm gonna go smoke again. If you can, I say go sober for a month, or a year, or just forever. It's whatever you think.

    yep im at my 3rd day without a smoke but guess what...i m the kind of guy who really enjoys his dream, and when smioke regulary i dont remember too much of my dreams...now i get more lucid dream but in each of them, fuck, i smoke!!! but i believe that helps me because in the day i dont even think like smokin, even when i was alone!! So im anxious to see what this night reserves to me!!

    This may have nothing to do with the subject, but this post made me think of it.

    We don't smoke bud to deal with our problems; if you do, you have a problem. During the day when we're not stoned, we dont freak out because we're not stoned, we may freak out if we think too hard about it tho.

    seriously, its not that you NEED to smoke, it just makes boring times a little better. You can always find something to do when your stoned. It makes the jobs you may have pass a little faster (personally, i can focus way better when im stoned, even after taking a tolerance break and im all clean of thc).
    Good times and the bad, it always makes them better when you can come home, sit down and clear your head with a bowl, calm down, relax a few... and then that your not all anxious and aching, you can think of a real way to deal with any problems u might have
