Trying to germinate 0_o

well im trying to see if i can rear a plant here ive got 2 seeds in a soapdishand i origionally had them wrapped in wet toilet paper under a hot light.

I did this for a few days about 3 1/2 to be exact

It then occured to me that the seed probably wont sprout untill it "thinks" its under ground so i put paper towel around it and covered the soapdish in aluminum foil to reflect the light and trap more heat.

I really want to get this started and these seeds seem to be wanting to take a long time.

Does anyone have any input to offer?

I presoak seeds in a glass of water overnight then use a coke bottle lid with half a folded up paper towl stuffed in the bottom. A quarter sheet of paper towel folded up sitting over the top. I keep it wet until the shell cracks open then just keep it slightly moist until I get about 1cm or so root. Keep at room temp should work well but I sometimes sit them on the back of the tv which is only slightly warm. Don't let it get completely dry at any stage though. Some seeds sprout quicker than others. But most I've found are ready to plant within a few days.

Wanna germinate in 2-3 days? get a warm wash cloth and throw those puppies in there fold it up and let it sit ..keep warming the wash cloth with hott water, this has worked for 5 of my seeds they germinated extremly fast, i didnt even need to use a light..

hmm interesting..yes i removed the foil because im not fond of starting fires. I hope they crack soon. ive checked each day.

I wish there was a way to be sure of them growing..and i dont even know if its gonna be warm enough to produce females.

What i should really do is get my 1000 watt worklamp that i use for when i do engine work at night... that thing makes a 40 degree night feel like summer.
