They must think my plants are rubber trees; or ANTS in my Hydroton
ANTS in my Hydroton grow rocks!!!
:stoned: They all moved in in in one night...... ten zillion ants  . They moved right into my five gallon buckets and their 3 gallon inserts of Hydroton and have turned my 1/4" drip lines into Ant super highways!! Was not prepared for this and as for what to do......? I haven't a clue?? concerns?? suggestions?? :what:
( I already tried drowning them but I gave that idea up when I saw them caring beach balls, towels and lounge chairs and tanning under my HPS )

Ants, not shure if they will hurt your plants. Maybe throw a few shrimp on the barby to keep them happy. LOL No really sorry about that. You might ask in the hydro section. My brother had that problem in his house but was using soil. I have a small hydro in my shed and you can't turn around in my yard without stepping on ants of all kinds. I have had no bug prob's and they can get in there if they want. I had a few algea nats but no soil for them to live in,They die in the heat of the light. What kind are they ? Small blackones or fireants.

ants are good it seems.i have the same problem and the plants are not effected.it seems the ants kill other bugs that will harm plants.i would suggest just leaving em alone

Ants are a bitch for sure there are several bug bombs you can use. Then spray the outside of your room with diazepam and soak it in. That will keep them from coming back for some time. I spray twice a year around my whole house to keep them out.
Pyrethrum Fogger is safe to use even up to the last day of harvest. Itâ??s called PCO fogger or you can use the spot stray called X-Clude Spray.
They sell it at Discount Hydro

Hope that helps you dude.

I used some Safer brand Yard and Garden insect killer made by organic materials Review institute that I got at the hydro store and it took a couple applications but the ants are gone and didn't effect my plants at all.
thanks for the input
