thanks for the help but all im looking is for a simple square hole in my closet roof so that i can enter the attic. My old house had one in the closet roof so all you had to do was push up on this square piece of wood and you could get into the attic.

Im wonderin how much would it cost to put a hole in my closet roof so that i can have a sqaure hole to get into my attic. Also, would i need a contractor to do it and how much would it cost.
