I've been smoking for about 3 years now but have never tried growing or even researched abything about growing. For some reason i started to get interested in the whole process and had a question to ask. How do you crossbreed the indica and sativa to form a hybrid?

Have a sativa and indica plant making sure they're the opposite sex. Let them flower buy each other. When they die you should have ripe hybrid seeds in the female buds.

why do the females seeds become hybrid if its still only an indica or sativa

Because the male and female genetics have mixed together making a new set of genetics. Hybrid means that a sativa and indica has mixed together. Hybrid means both.
