Whenever I can make a remark about the French I jump on it...we all got to have our flaws! Seriously though, why would we want to merge...either side or country for all that matters? It's been a peaceful border and good relations. The Chinese and Russians have a "relationship" but by no means does it compare to that of the U.S. and Canada.
