Why do YOU smoke weed even though it can fuck up your life?

1. most people dont just smoke weed in their houses. smoking in places besides ur house, and buying weed from a dealer is enough to say that within a long period of time, the risk of getting caught is very high whether ur super careful or not.

why dont u care about getting caught for weed to the point of quitting?

Because its my life and I should be able to do what I want (within reason and as long as anything harmful only affects me) and I wouldnt work for an employer that cared if I smoke? As long as I don't do it on company time and I don't let it affect my work then there is no problem is there?

Also, like a previous post mentioned as long as you don't abuse it and have your head on straight then it should not cause any issues. I do agree that some places you may want to work would possibly pass you up for any kind of drug related charge but for me I don't have that to worry about. If I did have that to worry about then I would have to think about quitting I guess but I doubt I would actually quit. In my opinion I think abusing alcohol causes way more problems.

2. no, im saying that there is always a chance that u can fuck up with ur family, whether u stop after that or not who cares.
3. daily smokers all their life dont only smoke at their home. they also have regular visits to their dealer.

Well, for one I don't smoke anywhere I might get caught, ever. Second, even if I did get caught in New York state, it's not that big of a deal, legally speaking. Our drug laws are pretty lax. Third, why should I let the government dictate what states of consciousness I experience during my short time on this planet? Why should I just passively let them set limits to the experiences I can have during my life? Just because some asshole legislators tell me I can't do something with my own body doesn't mean I shouldn't. Weed makes me happy, gives me ideas and creativity that I would never have otherwise, and it will until the day I die. That far outweighs any of the temporary bad feelings that would come from me getting caught. And as for weed fucking up my family, that will never happen. Weed has brought my family together like nothing else has. We never fight or yell at each other. We all love each other and get high together. Fuck the government if they say that's wrong.

i bet none of u have been seriously caught for possesion. yes it is ur life and yes u should b able to do what u want, but u wont even be able to do that once ur behind bars or under probation.

im not trying to sound like some anti-drug person, but thats obvious, cuz anti-drug people are stupid and try to send messages of fake symptoms of weed and what it makes u do and forget to do or not do instead of concequences of getting caught.

all of ur reasons are the same reasons i smoke bud whenever i can, but for some reason, im always uneasy about my choice. i hateit. i know i wont quite unless im caught, but i always feel that its wrong. damn.

Wow, you didnt even get caught and you are paranoid now. If you're so worried about it, just quit, we don't need your nagging. If you're smoking you should be responsible enough to look out for yourself and do it safely. Getting caught isn't even a serious crime anymore, unless you're toting around a lot of it, which you shouldnt be unless you're dealing. I don't plan on working in an office making 100,000 dollars a year because that's not happiness, and those are the places that will test you and "ruin your life". I plan on following the weather and snowboarding for as long as humanly possible, and getting caught won't fuck up my life... but i'm still not going to get caught because you just have to use a little brain to know what you're getting into.
