All you guitar players with a ps2...

go check out this new game released called Guitar Hero. My brother picked it up two days ago and its kick ass. Its another music game for ps2 made by the same guys(Harmonix) who did amplitude and frequency. The game is getting high scores, above 9.0, and is really fun. It comes with a guitar and the game for $70. It actually plays like a real guitar with doing hamer ons and pull offs while strumming with a pick or your thumb. It has 5 frets/buttons at the top of the kneck where you can do power chords or single notes. The game includes a total of 47 songs which most are really good, and I've read that the expert mode is actually like playing the actual notes on a guitar. So if anyone is interested I suggest you go out and buy cause this game probably wont sell to well as most music games dont :rasta:

Sounds like a rip-off, buttons.. oh i get ya lol, I was thinking it would be a real guitar, dunno how i thought you were supposed to hook it up, but you could hook mine and my bro's guitar to the PC with an effects pedal kinda program

umm i'll post a pic of the guitar in a sec for yah...the guitar isnt the actual size of a real guitar but its big enough and comes with a strap so you can play while standing up.

also i dont know what u mean by "rip" cuase it uses 5 frets? It would be very hard to make a guitar game using every fret and also the cost would go up due to the guitar being more technical and blah blah blah, they map the notes out very well in each song to make you feel like you playing it.
