Lighting ? 24/0 for veg?
i have done ALOT of research the past couple of months. i have reade alot about light cycles. many like to use a 16/8, 18/6, 20/4. i have also read(from experts) that a 24/0 is the best for veg. that they do not need time off(dark) and will only grow bigger with more light. what do some of you guys think of this?

This is true for the seedling stage of the plant. Once it begins to grow secondary branches..which would be about a week or two at 24/0 you'd want to bring it down to a 18/6. The Light cycle has alot to do with the continuity of the plants sex. High stress will cause even completely female plant to grow male flowers. Have enough male flowers..and you have a hermie.
Constant light will stress the plant once it's old enough..

You're on it....I don't think there would be any better website to find cannabis related topics.. than www.cannabis.com
but you can try overgrow or cannabis culture also.

Lighting ? 24/0 for veg?
I used 24/0 for the first 4 weeks, then changed to 18/6 and am now on 12/12...
worked great, I have had no real problems thus far
I started of with a 28w flouros for 3 plants, and 2x20w CFLs for another (all 24/0)...after about 3 weeks I swtiched on the 250w MH.
I used baby bio fert (11 -6-4) after the first month for 2 weeks, and am now using 15-30-15 for the next couple of weeks.

IN THE AREA THAT I SET ASIDE FOR MY BABY ROOM, I RUN 2 100W CFL'S, 24/7. BUT I HAVE FOUND THAT AFTER 21 DAYS, I HAVE RUN OUT OF ROOM, SIDE TO SIDE, FOR 6 PLANTS. AT THAT POINT, I PUT THEM IN MY VEG ROOM, (RUNNING 18/6). AT THAT POINT,,,, THINGS GO ALLL CRAZY. I AM IN MY FIRST FLOWER STAGE WITH 3 PLANTS. 39 DAYS OLD,,, 20" TALL. EVERYTHING ELSE, INCLUDING BABIES I JUST TOOK OUT, ARE IN MY VEG ROOM. ASK, AND PICS WILL BE PROVIDED. LUV YA'LL.

Lighting ? 24/0 for veg?
I keep my mother plants on 24/7. I have found that some strains will auto flower in time. Some strains like northern lights will start to flower on 18/6 and that's not good for mothers, no veg for clones. I can clone off NL's for about a year then they auto flower. Where as I have kept bag seed that looks like a sativa for over two years on 24/7. This is all in a phototron but hey find what works for you and stay with it. Boyznus, I would like to see pic's and can you turn your cap's off it look like your yelling. No offence. I would post pic's of my latest grow but my 800 dollar cameras been in the shop for 2 months. Orange bud only 2 or 3 weeks to finish , My next is another NL and then Papaya. I have to sex the papaya and that takes a few weeks to be shure.
