Why do you smoke pot?

Doesn't it go without saying most of us smoke to get high or to relax. But what about all the cancer patients who mainly smoke to put up with all the crap that is being done to their bodies to help them elevate the side effects. Are they really enjoying the high or just mainating ? Personally I would hate to have to smoke just to compensate for the rauncy feeling of cemo? That can't be a good buzzz.

Good medicine for depression. Without it I need it, not addicted, just need something to make me happy and forget about the emptiness. Used to be about having fun, but it's always been deeply about my depression.

wow, how come everyone is depressed w/out it? it takes my stress away and makes everything better.....but when im not high i still really enjoy life. havent found anything to take the stress cept weed....i feel i am a better happier person when high.

...i smoke marijuana because i strongly believe in it's medicinal qualities, think of it as a faith, if you will. don't get me wrong i love being high, too. being high increases my ability to think deeper and it's great for a nice reflection period. thinking deep isn't always "good" so to speak. sometimes you think so deep that you neglect the obvious answer that's burning holes right through you, smoking marijuana also inspires introspective moments, aswell. to me, those moments are crucial. i enjoy being able to spot out my supposed "mental disorders" and fix it on my own--ahem! excuse me, fix it with the help of mary jane. doo-doo-doo-doooooo, mary jane!...

alright. some people need to get their facts straight about marijuana.

lemonboy, you and me should join a cannabis religion. i, too, feel like knowing about marijuana and it's properties to the way it affects the body and mind. knowing more about the drug you use is just one step to fighting for legalization.

another reason i smoke marijuana is because if i didn't i'd be a hypocrite. you can't tell people to smoke ganja and not do it yourself. now, i don't know if i'll be smoking marijuana my entire life, but i do know that i'd love to keep the habit walking right next to me for the rest of my years. hope i didn't confuse anyone...lol
