Should i add flora kleen to the nutrient solution for an hour or two before i change the solution or do i add fresh water with flora kleen then drain and then fresh water with nutes again? Anybody ever use this before??

I think you should use it the last week before harvest with nothing else. It flushes all the nutes out so your smoke taste clean. There are 2 or 3 different kinds to use. If I'm wrong someone chime in.

No LOC is correct for 99% of the time. You can also use it when you have nutrient problems like a lock out or similar problem. You should always use that or something like it the last 3-5 day's before harvest to flush out the stored nutrients.

If i did have a nute lockout, how long would i let it run in my res before i replace with fresh water and nutes?

And GH recommends using at least once a month, let run for 1 to 2 hours, drain and replenish. Zandor, what do you think?

If I have a nutrient loc problem I flush for 24-36 hours. When I switch from veg cycle to flower cycle, I start the 12/12 lights on veg nutrients for the first 3-4 day's then one day of flush. Then I use my flower nutrients and the added bloom booster (MOAB this time, I'm testing it) for the first week. After that I switch back to normal flower nutrient weekly cycle. Until the last 3 weeks of flower when I stop feeding N all together and 2 weeks of MOAB (or what ever booster I'm using) . The last 3-7 day's is for a final flush.

Now if there is good growth under the canopy and it still needs light I will take the tops and the buds that are done and leave the rest for another week to 10 day's to finish under more flower nutrients but with no N just regular flower nutrients with more boost. The lower parts finish fast once they get more light and the extra week helps the overall yield by more then 20% and that alone pay's for the extra time used.
