New Lite Board
Mornin. Just an update on my grow, and a few pics of the lite board I built using 9 100w CFL'S. Its day one, so we'll see how it works. I had to pull the 400w HPS out and am going to use it in the flower room.

i odn't think those are 100 watt bulbs. i think they are the floresent equivalent of 100 watt incondesent bulbs that makes them like 28 watts each.
a 100 watt floresent is realy big.
plants look nice.

Thnx. But at 1700 lumens each, is that ok? Thats 15,300 lumens. Will they grow ok with that?

I think if you used those in between the plants, mounted on a pedestal, from the floor. With maybe a 400hps, or a t5 for top lighting you'd have a winner.Ahh, just looked closer at photo.HPS was prolly burning them, those Tek lights are nice if you could afford them for top lighting.

THNX, BUT I AM POOR. I HAVE TO USE THE 400W HPS IN THE FLOWER ROOM NOW. WAS SOOO MUCH CHEAPER TO BUY CFL'S THAN ANY OTHER HID LITE, AT THIS POINT.
