In the United States of America, supposedly the "land of the free," you can get the DEATH PENALTY for nonviolent, victimless crime. Specifically, for the possession/sale of 60,000 kg marijuana OR 60,000 plants OR 60,000 seeds. Apparently a seed is considered a plant.
