You need a simple yes or no, cause If the world does end, the likely hood of it happening in our lifetime is miniscual. Atleast from natural causes.

You're forgetting asteroids. We could all die any second! We have no way of stopping them really, and very weak detection technology. Whats more natural than a big chunk of rock?
