    Think.

    IF YOU READ ANYTHING!
I BEG YOU PLEASE READ THIS!

Yep. DEA is still gonna rape people.

    I'm stoned but get this.

Maybe since SO MANY PEOPLE are going to have weed legally and more openly in Denver, they won't be able to arrest and prosecute anybody, because it will cost them WAY too much money and they really aren't eliminating crime.

So the government tries to put a little scare into everybody by arresting a few people and seeing what happens. These people win their court cases and Colorado passes the law as a state. California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, WAshington, etc etc, slowly creeping from the west over the country and by 2088 it is totally legal to possess, distribute (with licenses so they can tax you of course), grow and harvest (again with a license for tax purposes) cannibas sativa, aka as marijuana, in the United States of America.

So we start the march in Denver, 10 years from now it'll be the entire state of Colorado. 15 years from now Nevada (the place where they came down hardest on marijuana in the 80's by putting up signs!!! WEED = 20 YEARS!)
Arnold Shwarzenneggggeggereeerrregg Jr. Jr. decides he want's to try this in his state, so he makes it legal in Venice Beach.

VENICE BEACH alone attracts tourism. So adding marijuana to the picture will add to more tourism, more people coming for spring break, more younger culture (sorry oldies but this is their target, in Venice BEach at least). MTV gets on the bandwagon, weed is big, weed is cool, they make big commercials of guys in cool sunglasses smoking a bong with slogans like (Got Weed?).

3 years later Arizona decides that they should jump on the bandwagon. The increasing sick population and older population are starting to grow and they see that cannabis is what people are doing. Openly, as if it was legal already. So they legalize it in Scottsdale, the rich town, with an even ratio of old and new. IT becomes hugely popular in the bars and they have the best stuff, the chronic, because they are rich.

Arizona soon legalized it to buy, distribute, consume, and grow marijuana (with licenses and only X amount of licenses are issued a pass) The DEA doesn't fuck with that many people. They arrest a handful - 2 or 3 - to see how the people react. And just to show the people that they think the country is resisting, when slowly they are just taking it over with taxes.

Then NEw Mexico. 8 years and 2 months later there is Arizona, California, Nevada and Colorado with the exact same laws as Arizona. IT was LEGAL. And the DEA really wasn't doing anything.

New Mexico HAS NOTHING. They are probably on the lowest of places people think to go.

    Not when it's legal.

Farmers see potential and New Mexico become an American - Mexican Weed Growing Farm Area since they can cultivate it anywhere. And now we have jobs. People are making money off of weed, people are hiring employees to harvest entire FIELDS, like fields of corn. So more taxes come into play. Now your sending money to THE REVIVED AND NEW SOCIAL SECURITY AMEND #40 (lol), FICA, and all that other blah blah.

    So now somebody buys stock.
Trucking companies sign contracts to ship.
The Nation follows within 20 years to allow marijuana to be held with a license in any state. Some states were different from others stating that consuming or growing was still illegal. They catch on though.

So now you have revolution. Marijuana in the stock market, in ads for people of age, and after a while subliminally aiming towards kids, to get them hooked, so they can make tax money.

    I think that's it.

And you thought the government hated weed.

Yeah. It's apparent that we're taking positive steps toward legalization. Medical, then Denver. I just hope it happens sooner than you expect. Then again, if it's legalized at least for posterity, our future generations won't have to use spoofs, hello neighbors, and Febreeze to cover up our incorrectly stigmatized beautiful herb.

And you forgot one thing. If the president gets ahold of some herb, he'd be lounging in the whitehouse swivel chair tellin' other world leaders..

"Maaaan we got this whole thing wrongggggggg. What we need is... what was I talking about?"
    "I don't know.."
"Oh yeeeeeah. Just forget 'bout the war or whatever, ya know? Why'd we start it anyway?"
    "I'm stonedddd"
"You're payin' for the pizza this time. ROFL"
    "....................................What?"

Ya I think it will be legal nationwide within 15-20 years myself, it's just a matter of some more unbiased tests on long-term effects being done and a few more large cities like Denver legalizing it.

Just because it's legal doesn't make it right.

If the president got ahold of booze (which is perfectly legal) he would probably act in the same manner. It's legal doesn't mean that everybody has to do it or indulge in it every second.

Even though alcohol is legal it's still a bad way for politics. Sure many politicians are alcoholics, but some politicians can be viewed badly if drinking or doing stuff that is legal that is not morale.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT CANNABIS IN IT'S OWN PURITY IS IMMORALE.

    I'm just pointing out.
