I was browsing NIDA's website(National Institute of Drug Abuse). NIDA is a government organization that supplies information for the DEA and lawmakers. I was looking through their publications on weed and some of them were actually making marijuana seem OK. Well, at least compared to tobacco and alcohol. The long-term effects were actually not so severe. They say it can -POSSIBLY- cause cancer and immune problems, but they aren't sure. They also said it can be harsh on your lungs, which is understandable. Then on another publication of theirs it made weed out to be extremely harmful. They said marijuana withdrawal (NO SUCH THING) caused damage to dopamine neurons. Strange, isn't it?
