I got rid of my avatar because I felt it sucked. The reason I haven't got a new one is because god hates me, and won't allow me to resize an avatar that I choose. So instead of cursing, "god you motherfucker", I'll suck it up until I choose to figure it out.

A question on botanical evolution.

Plants and trees send off their seeds in different ways. Maple trees send them off in pods that propel away from the tree like helicopters. MilkWeed and Dandelion send them off in parachute form on a passing breeze. Birds carry seeds away after eating sweet berries. Spikey burrs on some plants simply await the fur of a passing animal. And of course there's color. Color that had to syncronize with the eye-sight of birds and bees that were evolving in their own ways. Flowers grew out of green plants and like chameleons had to adapt for survival. At least that's how it seems.
The question is.....did the seeds themselves learn to adapt for their own survival...or was it the adult plants that came up with these changes?

Who or what was doing the thinking here?
