Democrats defeat online freedom of speech act

Online freedom of speach act? Is that one of those bullshit names like "patriot act" or "no child left behind?" Somehow I'm guessing it is. If the pattern holds, "online enjoy your slavery act" would be more appropriate.
\"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn by the equal rights of others. I do not add \"within the limits of the law\', because law if often but the tyrant\'s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.\"-Thomas Jefferson.

Eminent domain is in the Constitution, dickhead.

    Don't believe the hype.

"Online Freedom of Speech" is exactly like "Clear Skies Initiative" and "Healthy Forests" and "No Child Left Behind." They're all deceitfully named laws aimed at, respectively, making taxpayers pay for pollution rather than polluters, allowing logging companies to harvest timber on federal lands and making sure students receive the narrowest education possible while choking off funds.

Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and think for yourselves!

Online Freedom of Speech was defeated to keep political parties from bringing in unregulated and unlimited amounts of money to wage political campaigns on the Internet; that's all it did.

Frankly the GOP should be thankful Democrats beat it. The Dems outraised Republicans during the last election cycle and that trend continues today.
