I agree, sort of. He's not a tool of the establishment, just a tool. I'm currently reading Downsize This! and though I agree with him that there is hypocrisy in some saying they want to end welfare, and turn around and give $170 billion in corporate welfare, but if that was only what the book was about. About a quarter of the book is him pointing out how corporate America does whatever the hell they want and that the government just lets them. The other 3/4 of the book is him spouting his personal agenda: How he's in love with Hillary Clinton; How he thinks Cubans are cowards; him making fun of Bob Dole because he carries a pen in the arm that was injured in WWII; How the Jews in Florida should kill the Germans in Florida; how OJ was innocent and then in the next chapter he says that OJ was guilty; why he thinks Steve Forbs is a space alien. With him saying stupid shit like that, it's a wonder why anyone would believe a word he says. He's a few facts surrounded by piles upon piles of bullshit.

I am going to finish the book, but only because once I start a book, I have to finish it (this philosophy has forced me to read many a shitty book).
