you can see why it is ok to ph your water at 5.2 and just let it rise to 6.o..
then you get the whole spectrum of nutrient absorbtion!!

well thx man... i assumed it had to do w/ the plants absorbing the nutes from the water thus creating a more alkaline medium.

ANYWAYS......how bout this one. i want to cut my plants off from nitrogen to get rid of the "green" taste.

1.what ph level am i shooting for to accomplish this?

    2. at what point in flowering do make this adjustment.

you guys are the shiznit
Your plants take nutrients and deposit back-unused nutrients. That mixture is at different levels from when you first made them up. Your PPM is only good for your base NPK formula. Once you add your boosters sure you can check it and track it but there is really nothing you can do but to hold on, balance the Ph and wait until your next change. The PPM will change about 12-24 hours after you start to feed them and that's ok.

You just balance the Ph and change the water and nutrients every 7-10 day's and the PPM is not a problem. (Assuming you have started with the proper number in the first place)

You stop feeding "N" about 10 day's before you flush that will force the plant to start using up stored chlorophyll and reduce the cure time and improve the overall taste.
Zandor Reviewed by Zandor on . aeroponic ph question i use an aeroflo36 that can be seen here... http://gallery.cannabis.com/index.php?cat=45139 what should the ph of the resevoir be in an aeroponic system. it seems to me that since the roots arent encased in rockwool but rather are suspended and misted that 5.8 is a bit low. i currently keep it at 6.0 since im unsure. any help would be sweet....thx friends Rating: 5
