The reason they check your blood every month is bcause they are monitoring your liver... accutane can cause liver problems because taking vitamin A at large doses is extremely toxic and people have died. I was on accutane and thankfully I still have a functioning liver, but I have had friends with worse news...
while I was taking Accutane I didnt know anything about it.. all I knew was I was like everybody else and I worried about how i looked even tho my acne wasnt that bad.. little did I know that after that period of my life I would "outgrow" acne.. anyway, looking back on it for me I wouldnt redo it...

For those of u who dont know its like the best of the best of acne medicine but is also dangerous i guess cuz it gives you depression. and i would have to get my blood drawn every month and i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to smoke and be on the medication and if they would test for drugs on the monthly blood test because if u use this medicine u have to use it Rating: 5
