Can't eat butter, can bud brownies be made with oil

Yo im lactose intolerent, i get real gassy and upset stomach when i eat dairy products (milk, butter, cheese, cream...), not fun for me or my friends, so i was wondering if oil can be substituted for butter. Sone brownie reciepies call for oil.

Yes, you can make pot oil, the same as cannabutter.

I've only ever made them with oil. It's a lot easier to deal with than butter anyway because it doesn't burn as easily.

yes, and i have the same problem with dariy products, i get hella gasy.and in fact the other day i made a friend laff. we were standing in the lunch line, and she was talking to her friend as her friend was looking for what kind of milk she wanted, and my friend said i cant drink milk cuz im sick. so i tell her well i cant drink milk with out pissing ppls off, cuz it makes me fart, and her friend looks back and she says sumthing like and u grabed to milks? and they started laffing.

Yes of course you can use oil. thc is absorbed in fat (oil, butter) I personally prefer butter, but yes it burns easier. I've got some in the freezer right now. Guess it's time to make some cookies.

I put my grinded herb in a crockpot with butter and let it simmer all day!

How do you prepare the oil. Do I just put my ground bud in the oil or do I need to heat it? Never done it before with oil. Thanks.

All you really do is simmer it over low heat for about 45 minutes. Add about 1/4 cup more oil than the recipe calls for because the green will absorb some oil as other material is pushed out of it's membranes. Stir initially and every 10 minutes or so. Your house will stink of herb so keep this in mind. Strain the oil through something porous like cheesecloth or a thin (clean) dishtowel and wring out the remaining oil.

You'll get this brown/green oil that doesn't smell very good but does the trick. Just add it when your recipe calls for it. I wish I could do this more often.
