Power Compact Growing

recently i've been growing 2 seedlings under a 55w daylight 10k power compact fixture, and the growth is incredible. my question is, how long can i actually go using power compacts, im thinking during the bloom to save money on the elec, and due to small space instead of a MH or HPS maybe a couple hundred watts of power compact light. if anyone has expirence or tips to give please do.

I have posted 3 pictures..

these are the same plant..

picture 1 is 17 days old
picture 2 is 35 days old
picture 3 is 35 days old

this plant was started from a clone

the plant is being grown under compact fluorescent bulbs in miracle grow soil with 8.0 phed water.

the plant was switched to 12/12 at 10 days old


THIS IS AN EXPERIMENT - ph 8 water is not correct... do not try this at home

danknugg, out of curiosity how big is that first large leaf (how many inches long)? And what strain is it?

Its about 3 inches long, and as far as the strain goes not exactly sure, came from some nugs i bought, long fluffy skunk is all i remember. came from place where the kid had over 10 pounds of the same bud, so im thinking its a high yeilding stativa
