My dog farts a lot

regardless of what brand of food I feed him.

I think it is because he eats his food to fast and does not chew it..

I need a remedy..

any thoughts?

Absolutely, from the voice of experience, ( my dog farts and the green fog that permeates the room smells like a burning skunk).
I am a vet tech and promise you this a very safe remedy, BEANO!
I used to have a lab/dobie mix that would get real paranoid when she farted and would try to get away from her own ass! Its the dobie, what wimps. Hunter just looks curiously at his ass if he cuts a loud one, but if you notice, they have NO shame!

What kind of dog is it?

Some dogs fart a lot by nature. Those little Chinese pug dogs, they fart constantly.

Do you feed him wet or dry food? If it's only one or the other, try mixing it up a bit. Dry food throughout the day and give him a little wet food at supper time. We do that with my dog and my kitty and they love it. They shit good, no smelly.

mash his food up a bit with a fork before hes munches it, thats what i do for my pooch.
