Also jealous of your China photos. I want to tour that region properly for a good portion of my lifetime. A lot to learn there. Not enough herb, though.

Well, I guess I should say my favorite thing about China is my wife who I met when I was living there back in '96-'97. Besides her I'd have to say the culture, its just so dramatically different than anything in the West. There is also some incredible scenery, especially once you get out of the cities and head out to the west. Everything from beaches to jungles to deserts to the Himilayas. Definitely worth checking out if you have the chance.

man i used to be obsessed with china when i was younger, heavily into martial arts and all thier traditions, its just a real beautiful place! kinda mysterious! i like i like! :dance: :thumbsup:

Here's a few pics from out here in California. None of these places are more than a 6 hour drive from my house. The picture with the lichen covered rock in the bottom left hand corner is about 5 minutes from here. You'd never know that I live in a "city" with close to a million people.

Hey fengzi im saving up to go and live in China for a year, not near a city though. Eight hours by train outside beijing, the shaolin temple their is taking westerners. I plan to live and train with the shaolin monks for a year have to save quite a bit up though.
