Dude, your plants are looking sweet in my opinion. As to the buds getting bigger, fatter, stickier, heavier and stonier, I'm sure it'll be that way. I'm a newb, nerver seen a flowering plant (cannabis plant that is, gK&tC)... but my friend, you're on day 37... you've got how many to go? 23 average? Dude, they'll get bigger.

As to the magnifying glass, I suggest you get something more powerfull than 10x. I think 100x is too much, but 40, 60 or 80. I believe. Where to get it? I've read here that you can try Radio Shack. They've got the one for under $10. But, I've gone to various Radio Shacks over where I live, and nothing. Good luck with the microscope hunt :thumbsup:

So, I got the seeds (Chemo) and light (400w HPS kit w/ Gavita enhanced spectrum bulb). The closet is a linen closet which will be painted flat white soon, the floor measures 21.5"x29", height is all the way to the ceiling if needed, but preferably will be no more than 68". I have germinated and spouted 5 of the seeds in a mix of vermiculite, perlite and sphagnum pete Rating: 5

Thanks man. Its good to hear a second opinion, I've been sitting here thinking it should be ready in a week or two since so many hairs are turning orange...lol. I dont know what my nighttime temps are, I dont want to open the door and disturb her during the dark period. I really need to get one of those remote thermometers. The intake fan turns off at night along with the light or I think it will get too cold in there. The osillating fan stays on all night to move the air around.

So its actually a microscope that I need...hmm...so is it something that you hold and look at the trichs on the plant or do you need to take a leaf off and then look at it under the scope?

I was also wondering if anyone knows if mylar will block light out during the light, like if your hold a flashlight to it, would you be able to see the light on the othert side. I was thinking of doing the whole closet in mylar including the floor as well instead of the clear plastic I have down now. That should improve the light and I'm hoping it will also block light out during the night so I can take down the blankets that are hanging over the closet.

Yeah, you need a small microscope. A handheld version. As to taking a leaf off, that was what I was thinking of doing... I mean, I'm not going to try and look at the trichomes with my entire hand/body/microscope/plant setup moving back and forth. I was thinking of cutting off a little piece and observing that on a table.

As to the Mylar, yes it will block light... but not perfectly. At least, I've got the 2mil thick version, and I can hold it up to a ceiling bulb, and I'll see the bulb slightly.

day 43 flower...

Well, I dont think its growing anymore, maybe very very little, is it supposed to be this slow? The seed bank said the flowering time is 4 - 6 weeks, so should I still wait until about 60 days?

I've got a seed, possibly two, one right below the other...I took a pic, but you cant see that great (I circled it). Only two I can find and I cannot find any pollen sacks at all. I have also noticed that there are little tiny yellow leaves starting to stick out of a couple of the buds, dont know what these are.

I added another 5" inline fan so now I have a proper exhaust. I was able to move the light a bit closer as a result, its about 12 inches away now. Its noticably cooler.

Yes you should and the growth may have stunted because maybe they ran out of root space. Make sure your pot has enough room for their roots. This happened to me on my first grow but I didn't know what it was till I cut them down and tried to take the stem out of the soil (it picked all the soil up along with it.) Anyways, goodluck and I hope you find your problem.

She is in a 3 gal. pot, sitting on top of a 5 gal. pot. The plant is only 2 ft. tall. I dont think its root bound, there are no roots sticking out the bottom like the other times.

I noticed that the pot always seems pretty heavy, probably because it is so deep. After 4 days of no water even, still pretty heavy, but I water anyways. Each time I water, I give about 3/4 of a gallon (till it just starts to drip out of the bottom).

The one thing that has grown are the little tiny branch buds at the bottom that started growing not too long ago.

That plant is abused bro...Over watered..PH probably isn't right...I don't somethings been wrong from the begining...maybe buy a book?

OK. That late into flowering I believe there should be a cutback in the watering. I'm not sure about this so please correct me someone if I'm wrong. But the way I see it is that the plant isn't going to do THAT much growing from here on out besides the flower production. Again, I'm not sure about this. It's real late and I could be way off. Goodluck anyways.

Ya, I know somethings been wrong from the beginning, I burnt them by giving to much nutes and too often, they lost most of their fan leaves because of that. I did a search on overgrow and I could only find a couple posts about the strain. Apparently it is very sensitive to nutes, it says.

I have the ph drops and if I check the water straight out of the tap, it is already ph'd at 6.5 or so. I leave the water out for at least 24 hrs before watering to let the chlorine evaporate, either that or I boil it somtimes.

I think I will cut back on the watering and see what happens, I'm gonna be watering about once a week now.

I have a couple books and I thought I was following the guidelines, but oh well. Is it possible that the plant doesn't like the nutes I'm giving it? They were all doing great until I started with the nutes. And the bud growth, etc... was doing great up until a couple weeks ago. Fan leaves just started dieing off and then the growth slowed. If you look up the page a bit, you will see her at day 4 flower, I think that she looked decent there.

Oh well, I know next time will be much better. I got the seeds germinateing right now.

Don't go that far. They do need water, just not a lot. Start off slow and see what goes on. Goodluck.
