If they suggest this, ask for collatoral, something of equal value of the money you are giving them(eg.watch, I.D card-name, address, city, etc on ID cards) If they refuse, tell em to fuck off because you will more than likley get ripped off. yeah if you ask some random person for weed and they say they can go get it for you and they refuse to leave collatoral, take your business else where because you will get ripped off its a given especially in NY
