Out here in California we have tons of authentic Mexican taquerias and brains, tongue, stomach, etc. is just standard stuff on the menu. I usually just get the carne asada(steak) or al pastor(grilled pork). Awesome stuff.

Eating weird, by our standards, food is nothing new to me though. My wife is Chinese and my in-laws still live in China. Whenever we go back to visit I always end up eating...umm..."interesting" new foods. Once you get past the fact that your eating something bizaare you realize that a lot of it is really tasty. I love jellyfish and there is this dish made with thin slices of beef tendon, stomach, and tongue with a spicy sauce that's just fucking awesome.

THIS OTTA GROSS YOU OUT 2 days ago one of the neighbors, a mexican family, had drove down to my house and an 11 year girl got out of the vehicle, came to the door and invited me to come over to their house tomorrow for a birthday party for the niece. She said there would be music and food and a big celebration. So I thought how nice for them to invite me so I decided to not plan for dinner that evening.
