Cleaning a glass pipe

Ok, I've already boiled my pipe for about an hour, and tryed to clean it out with rubbing alchohol but this has not removed the resin at all. The only thing that worked was a q-tip with soap, but i could hardly reach any areas with it. I dont care if it will destroy the resin, just please give me a way to clean this pipe.

put it in a sandwich bag with rubbing alcohol and salt. shake it around and let it mix real well, letting the piece soak in the mixture. works excellent. boil it in salt water to get anything else out. a few soaks of the former method should work fine, though.

Dude all boiling does is loosen the resin in the pipe, it doesnt make it all come loose...thats where you come in. Use a paper clip, or pipe cleaners to scrape the remaining resin out :rasta:

Acetone (aka nail polish remover) takes out the resin like no other. Fill it, shake it around a bit, and pour it out. Repeat a few times until most of the resin's loose. If it isn't completely clean yet, soak the piece in HOT water, then repeat the acetone wash a few more times.

Remember to wash it thoroughly after the acetone with warm water, or else you'll get some acetone vapors when you go to hit it.

I've heard that using raw rice and hot water works really well to clean out the inside of a pipe because it scrapes it. That, and acetone should work very well.
