and after reading STZ RUS's post, i relized, technicaly, ive been smoking my whole life(second hand anyways,) my dad use to hot box me in the cars all the time. and i just relized that i have smoked with my dad befor.

I became curious with how it would feel when I was about thirteen, and during the first few months of freshman year, a friend and I sought it out. We didn't have any friends who smoked, so we had to meet new people. Met like five dealers that year.

Needless to say, we loved it, "peer-pressured" more than a couple friends into it, and were constantly scrambling for money. By sophomore year, I wondered if I could go a day without it. It was just too boring to be sober, and it still is. I don't understand how people can get through their lives without some form of drug to look forward to at the end of the day.

my older cousins were always smokin it arnd me. I'd always wanted 2 try it so one wkend wen i was 12 i went away campin wid em,i asked em 4 sum and avnt luked back since! we got so fuckin high that wkend it was deadly!

I was 15 and never before seen someone smoking weed, i don't think i knew anything about it actually. My friends were smoking it and they offered it to me, i declined. I researched about it, found this site, got great info about it then tried it. I'll be tokin til the day i die! :rasta:

My friend tried it because his brother gave him some and he ranted about how awesome it was for about a week. Then another friend tried it and ranted even more. So that whole week I did a shit load of research (which also lead me to this site and my best friend erowid.org) and realized how safe it was and tried it that weekend. Perfect first time 5 friends sitting on the edge of a lake with a wooden indian pipe getting passed all around.

I at one time had used to be a D.A.R.E. poster child, was against any illegal drugs and what not. I got really really drunk one night when I was hanging out w/ some friends. One of them suggested that I try weed, he said it wasn't that bad. Being completely plastered and lacking any inhabitions, I said sure why not! We walked across town (completely plastered) to his house, got a bowl, walked all the way back to my house, then I got pleasently stoned =D. Ever since then I've renounced my former DARE ways...ahhhh, the herb is great

me and my best friend used to skateboard and deciede to quit. so i was over at his house nobody was home and sittin there board thinkin of something to do and he said "my dad has some weed down in his room wanna smoke" i was like sure so he ripped a Dime bag and his dads pipe and we smoked i was soooo high i was laughing at everything him and his brother said. anyway me and my friend are still best friend potheads to this day.

Last year me and my homies had just gotten out of the Vine Street Market, which is right next to our high school, and we were eating our lunch when my friend Tyrail said "Hey, I got my buddha wit me. Y'all wan smoke a bowl?" to my pothead friend Matt. I said "Hey, lemme come wit you. I always wanted to try it." so we went. Tyrail took a hit...held it for 10 seconds...coughed...passed it to Matt. Matt hit it...held it for 20 seconds...coughed like an athsmatic...passet it to me. Tyrail was like "Yo, Penguin, you want me to spark it for you?" I declined and said "Naw I got it. I saw you two hit it.". So, I sparked it, hit it, held it in for a minute (no fucking lie), then I blew it out slow and we were in a Handicapped porto jon so we were kind of hotboxin that shit. It wasn't that smoky until my hit came out there. I had no idea I could hold that much air/smoke. Matt and Tyrail were all "Penguin's a fucking natural born stoner! hahaha!" and the rest is history.
