Decriminalization
I know I've brang up subjects like this before so dont get mad, but I'm confused about the whole deal with decriminalization. I'm 15 and I live in Canada. I've heard so many people say that weeds decriminalized in Canada and some parts of the U.S. So what do you mean by that? Like I've heard that if you're over 18 and have been caught smoking weed somewhere where its decriminalized you just get off with just a fine and no charge? I know that id you're under 18 you get charged, because I know some guy who's 15 who got caught the other day and was charged. And does anyone know if it's actually decriminalized in Canada.

Decriminalization
It's not actually decriminalized in Canada. As far as I know, marijuana arrests are just a very low priority and the laws aren't enforced very well.

Did you just seriously say, "I know I've brang up subjects"?

Illegal:
â??not according to or authorized by lawâ?
Decriminalize:
â??to remove or reduce the criminal classification or status of; especially : to repeal a strict ban on while keeping under some form of regulationâ?
: )

i live in quebec and pot is not even decriminalize...but my cousin is a police man and he smokes with the most gigantic bong i've ever seen!! it's normal you are confuse those law enforcers also are so it's really to the discretion of the policeman if you'll end up with a fine or absolutly nothing...but one thing is sure, the more you expose yourself in canada when you smoke the more they will reconsider the laws, unless uncle sam doesn't allow us to do so, like they previously said "...borders will become a serious source of conflict"... translated from french from the Journal de Montreal...
