HELP!!
Pretty much the second the sprout comes out of the ground it starts to turn green due to the fact that it has begun making chlorophyl. Until then the sprouts are a whitish color.

i think i didnt say what i meant too clearly, sos, wot i meant was how long does it take to start growing?? like how long is it untill u see anything at all growing?? Cheers :rasta:

3-6 days you should start seeing sumthing it takes me normally about a couple of days is it straight into soil.???

yeah it was straight into a pot. But i just checked it and there is a tiny little sprout sticking out, so that would make it 2 1/2 days!! Not bad!! Cheers guys, just that people talk about 3 hours. :rasta:

NO! halogen is shit. too much heat not the right spectrum either. Get a HPS with hortilux bulb or any type of fluorescent light (you will need a few) or a Metal Halide (especially for good veg) .
