    Desperate for some lighting advice

    I've just set some seeds off on their journey and im desperatly trying to find some suitable lighting tht wont break t bank.

    I found this and im not sure if its suitable...

    Depends what you'd like to spend really. Fluoros are the cheapest and are fine for personal grows but if you want high yield you'll have to invest in HPS. With standard fluoros you could buy everything from your local DIY store for less than £50. Prices for compact fluoros vary from store to store, and for a good make of HPS for hood ballast and bulb you're not getting much change out of £150-180.

    ARGH! So many things! I found a link on another post...decided to use fluoro's until flowering...by tht time i'l have sorted t MH/HPS bcs i'll have some cash.

    Thanks for the help

    btw...3 out of my 4 have come through...looking really healthy

    flouros are great for seedlings and vegging, probably better than hps. mh for vegging though is best but that does mean having three light setups if youve got hps for flowering aswell.
    but then again you could have all three stages of growth going on simultaneously, all under their best light spectrum and you'd be made for life thats such a good idea i think ill do it myself. good luck
