How to make a CFL fixture for under $40......
All you need is:
1 - 10" x 11" scrap piece of wood with pre-drilled holes. (or whatever size to fit your needs)
4 - lamp holders $1.97 ea.
2 - 42w spiral CFL bulbs warm light $4.99 ea.
2 - 150w spiral CFL cool bulbs $10 ea.
4 - 1' Jack Chain $.43 ea.
8 - screw hooks $.25 ea.
2 - 9ft ext cords $1.74 ea.
First screw in the lamp holders into the pre-drilled holes. On the opposite side, lock the lamp holders in place by attaching the nut to the post. Next cut off the plug-in side of the two ext cords. Split the wires and get about half an inch of exposed wire at the tip. Wire up the negative with the negative and the pos with the pos and cap them.puff4twentynow Reviewed by puff4twentynow on .
