Rugby!

I love rugby! My old roommate used to play it and I used to go to his games blazed as fuck! My favorite part of the game is the Scrum, I don't know why.

But i joined my school team last spring, and im obsessed! i joined a club team over the summer! its the awesomest sport ever! Anyone else play? What positions and stuff? union dude! ive seen league on tv a couple times, its so boring! its like american football, as you guys call it! me and my friends cant stand it.

Rugby League is the "Bee's Knees"!!:thumbsup:

Union is "Kick and Clap" League is harder, faster and definatley a better dicipline to watch! You see, rugby league is all about making TACKLES...whereas union is about POSSESION and TERRITORY....In league style rugby,you have to give away possesion to the other team once your team has been tackled 6 times...
Therefore, you have to score in LESS than 6 tackles which makes the game far more daring and energetic when a team has to pull out mad moves to break the "enemy line"!!
Kicking the ball away is a "NO NO"!
Rugby Union is also a great sport and I've played in both disciplines at Uni level...Also for a local club...
I've played as a Winger,Centre and Fullback...But did most damage as a no 11 Winger..
We had a Canadian No 13 [outside centre] who had played for Canada under21's and who almost got picked for the Senior Canada Team for the World Cup 2003!! He was a real beast and was a valuble first team player..

But I switched to Rugby League much against the fabric of mentality...and I was supprised at how good it was ....
