Living in Canada, rugby isnt a very popular sport. But i joined my school team last spring, and im obsessed! i joined a club team over the summer! its the awesomest sport ever! Anyone else play? What positions and stuff? I play lock for Northern SS and the Toronto Nomads in Toronto, canada.

NICE Man, rugby is the shit. Best sport ever. its so much better to play and watch then any other sport. i play fullback...live in australia, its big here

sweet rugby IS the shit, definately in my top 3 sports, along with ice hockey (im canadian, of course i love it) and skiing. And its growing here. No pro leagues yet... but somewhere down the road it'll happen. This year, in school im gonna try and convince my coach to let me play center for a bit i could handle it at my level. I think it would be a nice change. Backs get so many more breaks then forewards, with all the scrums and line outs and stuff, but those are the best parts of the game. theres nothing better then being lifted and scrums are fun.

union dude! ive seen league on tv a couple times, its so boring! its like american football, as you guys call it! me and my friends cant stand it.

I grew up in upstate N.Y. and at the State Colleges (from Buffalo to Plattsburgh to Oneonta to Bridgeport) Rugby and LaCrosse were popular intramural sports.
