Got a 75 gallon salt water reef tank here with a blue tang and a big green brittle starfish that eats out of my hand.

A cat named sassy. sassy is a grey short-haired tiger. A killer. Did you ever notice how a cat will sit and stare at you with the pupils in its eyes changing shape? Well, it's not love. The cat is always sizing you up for the kill. It's instinct. You didn't really think that cat loved you did you?

Had two cockatiels. The first one I had out on the deck on a nice spring day. A strong wind blew the cage over...and it crashed and broke. The bird sat up in a tree...but wouldn't come to me when I called it. It lost its sense of direction. Moved further and further from branch to branch out into the woods. I could hear it calling for a day or two...but lost sight of it. It most likely fell prey to a passing hawk. Although, a friend told me recently that there are actually parakeets out in the wild around here now who have learned how to nest together in commune style to brave these cold winters.

The other cockatiel fell prey to something that was smart enough to open the cage door, slaughter the bird in a corner of the cage (feathers were the evidence), and get the cage door open again to leave with its kill (no body was found). A Kingfisher? A Racoon?

Never had much luck with dogs or rabbits. They always seem to get run over by cars.
