they are stronger than other nutes...and one important thing is that you use a sterile grow medium, otherwise you will be adding nutes to nutes...
But first...what medium are you using?
2nd How big are your lights...the smaller the lights, you want lower ppm's, the bigger the light the more ppm's a plant can handle, because the bigger light allows the plant to want more uptake of nutes...imho...hope this helps...
Use ph'd distilled water or buy a RO unit...you will be thankful if you do...and you can get one for under $100
Just do not overfert...give them 25% of recipe, then 50%, then give them the full recipe, unless you are running cfl's; then stay at 50%...goodluck
