Questions about sensi bloom high yeild kit!
I purchased this bloom Kit the other day for my soil grow and this is my first time using a advance Kit ,I have used other nutes before and have a decent understanding of the do's and dont's but! this is my first flowering attempt with advance nutrients and I what everything to work out great!....I have had several grows with decent size buds but I thought I'd step it up a bit and increase the yeild and resin production......
Below is a chart for the grow Kit it has from a light feeding to a heavy feeding? what feeding would be the best?...
Is this Kit lacking anything of importance?
Should I follow the chart to the exact instructions or should it perhaps,, be tweaked a little for a better grow?......
what are your thoughts on this kit overall?
Thanks for your time.....Just looking for the best approach for apply this kit to my grow for maximum results...........Mellow Man Reviewed by Mellow Man on . Hi Mellow Man,
What strain are you growing? Generally, Sativa requires lighter feeding than Indica.

they are stronger than other nutes...and one important thing is that you use a sterile grow medium, otherwise you will be adding nutes to nutes...
But first...what medium are you using?
2nd How big are your lights...the smaller the lights, you want lower ppm's, the bigger the light the more ppm's a plant can handle, because the bigger light allows the plant to want more uptake of nutes...imho...hope this helps...
Use ph'd distilled water or buy a RO unit...you will be thankful if you do...and you can get one for under $100
Just do not overfert...give them 25% of recipe, then 50%, then give them the full recipe, unless you are running cfl's; then stay at 50%...goodluck

I am using 1000w mh for veg and 2 1000w hps for flowering with a mix of the mh for 6 hours a day or so,the potting soil I am using is schultz potting mix! with 50% perlite mixed in! so half, half ratio!.......so Late wood are you saying that perhaps I shouldn't use the kit as mentioned in the chart?.....indica strains mostly by the way!........I always used plant prod for vegging and plant prod for flowering but never used advance nutes before...anymore insight guys?????????...........thanks

here is what I am saying...too much nutes and you burn them...your done, right?
acclimate you nutes gradually and there will be less stress on them, less chance to burn them, and alot of people swear by mixing 50% of the suggested values. The point is...watch your plant, err on the side of less nutes rather than more nutes, because it does not take but 1 time overferting and...your done...imho...also, I forgot to mention earlier...my watering method for potted plants are nutes on Monday...this is hydro nuteday for me, so I take care of my hydro's, then I mix up my nutrient mix (tea) for my potted plants at about 50% of hydro strength once they are in cycle. I water a couple times during the week(lightly) with ph'd ROwater and superthrive 1/4tsp. per gallon. The reason for this is that the soil retains nutrients and you don't have to keep adding them...you have to watch them...if they are healthy and thriving, and "you can tell", then just water them with the superthrive. Watch for them to look like they need some energy, then give them a dose...this methodology is just old school
and it only works if you keep up your plants every day or 2, but it also keeps you from overferting your plants...
...other people, like harddon, for instance, would feed his plants nutes to start with and didn't feed it anything but water and superthrive until flower and maybe boost them again during flower...
...last but not least follow the light schedule at Advanced nutrients...I haven't been hurt by using there products at full strength/ppm's, but, I don't always think that I need as much as they recommend...I hope this helps to answer your q's...
A question for you...do you have a Co2 set-up? and alot of ventilation?
...keep me posted on what's going on. I want to see what you got going
...oh and don't forget...NO NUTES for seedlings...superthrive can be used, but that is a personal choice...latewood
