I have just encountered possibly the most insightful intellectual post I have ever read on this board. I have lived by that ideal for a long time.
Experienceing the mental and emotional atmosphere within yourself will always lead to your own personal evolution that is as constant as you choose for it to be.
There is no greater gift you can give yourself than to persue enlightenment and it is an elusive goal since your lnadscapes are forever changing and adapting to your new levels of understanding.
It is also by this very ideal that we can see that it is impossible for anyone to share the same understanding of any given situation. Even two people looking at the same facts is like they are looking at a subjective piece of art since their interperatations are always going to vary on some level . We are the accumulation of our experiences, thoughts, emotions, and goals and no two sets will ever be identicle. So, in essence we all live in our own realities and can only ever hope to connect long enough to communicate how we see the world. We will never 'live' in the same reality as anyone else. But we can draw verbal pictures of our worlds, colour them in and share. Relationships are like two people colouring in the same picture at the same time, appreciating the result and sharing it between themselves and others.
