A Newbie FAQ Sticky in the Lounge I think there should be a FAQ sticky thread in the lounge answering the typical questiosn that gets asked daily by new members or not so educated smokers. It would save allot of wasted threads asking the same question it would also stop people flaming people cause when a new memeber joins up and asks a question thats been asked 100 times they get flamed i think this would work as good as DickJustices FAQ in the Phycotropics page. Nobody posts in the correct forum, let alone read the stickies. Dick Justice's sticky in Other Psychotropics hasn't done much good at all. There are still several threads on other drugs popping up all over Recreational, and I don't see that ever coming to an end.

I think that you should just include like permanent links at the top of the page to erowid and other sites (maybe totse.org) and ask people to check them first. but then again, no one would. I dont really have a problem with people posting the same thing over and over again (as long as it isnt like on the same page) I mean it is a message board, not an archive board. and with like 13000 threads in "the lounge" alone, everything has already been discussed. now it must be discussed with new people. thats the way I see it anyway.

Okay, I was watchin the news, something I rarely do because it is full of reminders on how the human race is disappointing, But I wanted to find out about the hurricane, and how everything was going. I turned on the news, and they were talking about looters,and such. What the fuck is wrong with those people? There lives are in a war zone, and they have the nerve to go and steal while the cops/and others are helping people. I mean there are dead bodies, and stuff everywhere. Instead of actually stealing this, why not donate some of your inconsiderate self centered time to helping these people out. I can understand if your starved to death,Or your kids need to eat, or but just actually going in and stealing like that?That's a poor excuse for a fucking american, and frankly those people didn't look like they were starving to death.Okay..Okay Maybe i'm being a bit to hard. But honestly, I know a lot of us don't have a lot of money. Hell I've got 10 dollars to last me until thursday. But I have a home, food, A beautiful baby and a family and two arms two legs,and a mouth to eat with..so on and so forth it looked to me from the looks of it that these people had good health, and even if they're houses got destoryed they still didn't have to do that, Seriously...Help...Don't cause an even bigger problem.

I think if a person is of the demeanor that would riot and plunder during a crisis, wouldn't they be the type that would only get in the way of the public servants at ground zero?
