I was wondering if anybody here uses weed and cannabis for spiritual use with meditation and Astral Projection. Does it help get you in the Astral?

Astral Projection isnt really my thing- I havent put much study in it.

However, pot has been a great tool for meditation.

You must remember though many would argue that it is an 'outside' force, and therefore no good because meditation should be free, with conditions, etc etc.

I imagine that substances like Peyote, Mushrooms, DMT, and the like are much more 'spiritual tools'

I use it to kill my insomnia. I'm not much of a meditator or astral projector.

Awesome question. I don't believe that I've ever astral projected (I've tried and tried.. and tried.), but I have had plenty of lucid dreams. I'd also be interested in knowing if other people have had success using marijuana as an aid to astral projection, meditation, or self-hypnosis.

i find trouble smoking then meditating. Do you guys not here ur conscious speaking to ur brain every minute of the time you are high. there is way too much thought about to meditate. It is good for thinking about new ideas though.

I practice it. My mom started me on the whole meditation thing. I still do things a little differently, my own way... but close enough.

I used to get astral projections all the time "accidently" when i was young, usually in the morning when i first woke up, this was only occasionally but it seems like everytime it happened it was when i would wake up and usually i get right out of bed and get in the shower, so when i was really tired and wanted to stay in bed i would but keep thinking that i need to get up, and eventually i would feel like and actaully see myself walking into the bathroom and get in the shower, then it would abruptly stop and i would wake up thinking that i had just taken a shower, i never knew what the hell was going on until i read an article on astral projection and really got into it, but ever since i started practicing i havent been able to do it... dont know why

That happens to me too, especially when I was back in school, but I'm skeptical as to whether it's a true projection.
