How reliable are home test kits? AND..

I got a test from Walgreens made by Pharmatech that states it is 99.9% accurate. I haven't smoked in 3 weeks exactly and tested negative. All of this for a new Job/employer. How reliable are these tests?
Also, how much THC gl/ is processed and leaves the body a day?

Actually it can be detected in urine as long as 30 days.....

yea, but the parameters of the test say that it detects only 50 nanograms or more. I tested negative so I would assume that I had less then was the detectable amount. The question that I now have is how reliable are the take home tests and how do the lab tests differ ( amount of nanograms)

I've heard it said often if you pass the home test you will pass the lab test. But, you must still be diluted at least as well as when you took the home test.
In theory one could be negative when properly diluted one day yet fail the next morning when the dilution has waned....
Zat make sense ?

take home tests only detect recent use, like a few days, give or take

exact words from my substance abuse counsler.

I don't think that they are that accurate... I passed two. First one 4 days after I smoked. Second one was about 2 days. Diluted both times, though. Cranberry juice is good.

I just got my results back from a home test kit; I had 55ng level for weed. I am 48 yrs and weigh 185lbs. I tested myself after 20 days of non-use. Prior to that, I smoked for 2 months, everyday. Prior to that, I did not smoke for 2 months. I did not drink lots of water. I did not exercise. I took 4 goldenseal root capsules everyday for 3 days prior, and waited one day before testing myself. I use the first sample of the day. These are my results I hope this might help others.
