    Medical vs non-medical users

    Hi,
I'm posting this thread in this section since I'm mainly interested in getting feedback regarding Ontario.
From my understanding there are certain medical "conditions" that are somewhat borderline - for instance you can get your doctor to sign a statement that you have these conditions and you can then get MJ from compassion centres.
I'm thinking things like depression, anxiety, insomnia, migraines etc. - those kinds of things. I realize they are certainly not life threatening and I don't want to take away from those who truly need medical cannabis, but I do find for myself that smoking pot does relieve some of these conditions and for me it's better than taking pills.
However, I am reluctant to ask my GP to sign anything or to even bring the subject up.
My question is - do any of you feel that you would prefer to have access more easily thru the compassion centres - but don't bother with the process because of getting the forms signed?
Doctors seem to have a way of making you feel like you're a junky - no matter what you're asking for.

    thanks,

I recently got my uncle a membership to the TCC through a good friend of mine. I admit now, i do get most of my... medication from there through my uncle. We basically share what he gets. He's not a heavy smoker, very medicinal because he suffers from MS, epilepsy..and a number of other nasties.
It's been suggested to me that i apply for a membership there for my problem with acid reflux. Throwing up on a regular basis is not fun

Personally i don't feel that i require a membership myself because i have the ability to get my ...medicine... elsewhere. I'm on prescription drugs and just feel that someone else that needs it can fill my membership spot...for now.
If i had good reason, i wouldn't hesitate to get a membership for the compassion centre.
The bigger problem is finding a doctor that will sign the application

Hey I'm from canada and there should be just package and avail for public since the demand for help is so overwhelming in every country as far as I see it. You see proir to 1937 it was in barbershop's and you just had to stop at most corners for a variety. The founder Anbriose Pare on net under barbersurgeon used it for a epidermis mostly.
Well now we also have Chiroprators that should be avail there so those who want descretional use can walk in walk out no stupid questions on whether it's works for muscle disorders or not. Our government could help so many people from dieing but they refuse to help no we have to suffer with their dumd nicatine sticks that kill. I am a barber surgeon and rights belong to my profession first but again the surgeon's steal a business which they have no right to this in first place. They prescribe pills legally , herb has always been alternative and should be legal again so we all don't have to suffer in this life.
    Thank You

MED EXEMPTION FORMS AND INFO FROM GOVT.

    http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/marihuana/index_e.html

Ive got the forms with my portion filled but lack a doctor who will endorse it.
My doc wont endorse anyone less than class A
Since Im class c even with a doc endorsement I have to pass strict exam by a govt doc as well. Not likely to happen for my class.
There are compassion groups that will supply a class c under the table if they have some verification from a doc that you have one of the conditions to qualify. That is so those of us with a need but no doc , or a fear of the process and the label can still have access to meds. Then another tier is folks associated unofficially with compassion groups who will take referrals from the groups or supply you if you sign a declaration that you use medicinally.
Isa a good system for now but we desperately need a better one with freer access to those in genuine need and those of us with a preference to treat our ailments with a healthier med than that pharmaceutical garbage.

    For anxiety (class c):
In ontario you have to have either tried, or ,considered and ruled out (for health reasons) usage of conventional pharmaceuticals before you can get an endorsement and approval.
It cannot be done in one quick visit. There needs to be an established history and record of treatments prior to your application.
That will change eventually since its constitutionally discriminatory to provide one med to some after realisation that other meds are inferior but then continue to force people to suffer the same long process of elimination before they arrive at the same conclusion that med pot is superior on every level.

There used to be easy assess to variety of countries. Italy I'm from directly
and being it grow's the best with crossing it with the grapes crops or with them. When was controlled by men it was found on shelfs at the logal Barber being they are sworn to the same red, white, blue stripes and scissors and rolling are a speciality of the profession. They used the oil for the epidermis and wrinkles. The doctor are sworn not to use scissors on hair and that's how you test is also done and has to be a hairstylist/barber to by law trim to test. 1745 law was made for the purpose of alternative methods and when Barber's separated duties separated and we took alternative herbs, and colours for our profession and the only outer uses of the straight blade.
#1 oil for the epidermis is legally owned to barber surgeon's, stylist.
The chiroprator was founded in 1895 and they also can lay claim as a ointment for massage since the also licence by law before the 1937 was formed. Note no women testified for pain and were the experts but time has changed opinion publically.

there is survey for 20 years from doctors that were done and only now we are getting the results. This is from 4 variety of surgeon's in london. Dr. Mount is the expert Dr. to ask. I have been in testing for 13 years with doc's in ontario. And yahoo this is being now fought at surgeon's board of Ontario in T.O. This would include myself being barber surgeon first were professionals to prescribe it first place. That is why the pole red, white, blue symbolizing surgery. When that light was on the medicine was in.

No you don't ask for marijuana it's not the medicine found in the plant. Cannabis is the medical part you ask for Cannabis pill (nabilone) if you have nueromuscular problems, pain of any sort. Leaf is viral infections, hence migraines included reduces the muscles thus relieving the pressures in the cranium. Sensory nerves if damaged are fixed better admistered through smoking then oral, as if your eyes aren't 20/20 then get testted and bring that back to family dr. and ask for a referal for the use.

I'm from canada your class a, class c disease ranking that's silliest thing I've read as a surgeon in my life. In canada being being law it's alternative medicine and your constitutional right to chose you own medication. It your basic right as a human as I see it helping a patient with any ailment that can be fix is my first priority. The cost, or why you have the disease it is not as important just to releive the symptoms asap.
Then when you able figure out why you have the problems to begin with and avoid another occurance from happening if can possible. Chiropractors are the best to consult since muscle therapy is done there and I found less 9th degree questions before your respected as a patient paying for services that we don't seem to just get from asking.
