Israel calls for Iran's expulsion from the U.N
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel on Thursday called for Iran's expulsion from the United Nations after its president said the Jewish state should be "wiped off the map".
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's comments at a Tehran conference on Wednesday drew international condemnation and underscored Western scrutiny on the Iranian nuclear programme.
"A country that calls for the destruction of another people cannot be a member of the United Nations," Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's office quoted him as saying in a statement.
Vice Premier Shimon Peres said he might seek an official Israeli mandate to request Iran's expulsion from the United Nations, but admitted that such an outcome would be unlikely.

Iran is a supporter of Islamic Jihad that just carried out the bombing. Iran states that Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth. The U.N. does absolutely nothing and doubts if they will. Israel will consider this a major bitch slap and will take matters into their own hands!
Another reason why the U.N. should be shut down!! Hell, by recent reports it sounds like they support terrorism themselves...and we help pay for this "service"?Psycho4Bud Reviewed by Psycho4Bud on . Why do we consider Isreal an ally? There should be some benefit for both sides, right? What, exactlly does the US get for its blind support of Israel? They invade their neighbors on a regular basis, build nucleur weapons, violate UN resolutions, so why aren't we bombing them? Instead we give economic aid that poor countries only dream of. Give the palestinians some F-15s, I'll bet the suicide bombings will stop.
\"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn by the equal rights of others. I do not add \"within the limits of the law\', because law if often but the tyrant\'s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.\"-Thomas Jefferson.

It's true. If you don't agree with everything Isreal does your an anti-semite. Just like if you don't agree with everything his Holiness Lord Bush does you are anti-American. If the rest of the world would only realize these facts and stop complaining it would be a much better place.

Israel calls for Iran's expulsion from the U.N
A brief summary of Israel's history:
Since biblical times, Jews and Arabs have always lived in Middle East. Always, it was never one country got their first, they always lived together. Then the Romans arrived, burnt their temples and expelled them. What followed was 5,000+ years of persecution and murder wherever the Jewish people went. Following the Holocaust, the Jewish people demanded a state where they could be at home, and protected from any further persecution. The U.N. decided to grant them some land in what is now Israel which seems fair enough considering that's the original place they got kicked out of, and you know what happened soon thereafter? Arab nations declared war, Israel won the war and rightfully got the land they won. You know what happened after that? Another war was declared by the Arabs on the Jews and again, they won the war. What happened next, you ask? Wouldn't you believe it... another war! Every time Arab nations declared war on Israel, they won, and so it goes in terms of war, they got the land.
True Fact: Every single war be it the 6 Day War, the War of Independence and the War of Yom Kippur were all started by the Arabs. Israel has never initiated war on any single nation.
Why do they have the right to have nuclear weapons? Well, let's think-- if your a tiny Israel state surrounded by a bunch of Arab countries who want nothing but your eradication, don't you think you need some self defense?
It would seem fair to me considering the Israeli state doesn't have suicide bombers, Jihads, their purpose isn't the eradication of an entire people. This is not to suggest that every Arab wants this, but for the leader of a country to call for the extermination of a people... this is the kind of people you want involved in the U.N.?
Please, please, let me know of a single instance in which Israel has either initiated war, blew up a school bus or heralded for the extermination of an entire peoples, and I will admit that Israel is at any form of fault.
