I have my suspicion that he was trying to learn how to manipulate peoples emotions towards him, and perhaps he even generated a pie chart and based the result on certain criteria, to give him a scale of effectiveness on certain social types and intelligence levels. You know like hte complimentary colours wheel? I still use that to dress, cause im esthetically challenged.
