I'm against the war in Iraq, and think that Bush is an absolute idiot who has no business being president, but I can see what Amsterdam is saying. I have also noticed a certain celebratory attitude, toward the 2000 dead mark, among a lot of the so called protesters. The problem isn't with those who are seriously against the war and maybe have lost a loved one because of it. The problem is with all of the flavor of the week protesters who are out there because it is the in thing to do.

I live close to Berkely, which would probably be the closet thing to hell on earth for Amsterdam, and see it all the time. Whatever the issue, they're against it because it's popular to be against it. Many don't even know anything about what they are against.
I literally had this one guy tell me about some protest rally he was going to but didn't know what they were going to be protesting. Seriously, no shit. Don't they realize that they are hurting the cause of those people who really beleive in it? Do they care? Probably not.
