"I have the greatest admiration for your propaganda. Propaganda in the West is carried out by experts who have had the best training in the world â?? in the field of advertizing â?? and have mastered the techniques with exceptional proficiency ... Yours are subtle and persuasive; ours are crude and obvious ... I think that the fundamental difference between our worlds, with respect to propaganda, is quite simple. You tend to believe yours ... and we tend to disbelieve ours." - Soviet correspondent based five years in the U.S.

Doesn't anyone of ever for a moment stop and think that maybe there is tiniest possibility that we are being lied to by the people at the top?? or is it too scary to think that maybe we not the good guys afterall. Lets face it everyone in Germany during WW2 thought they were the good guys as well.

Now i wonder how much abuse i'm going get for using my right to free speech.
None from me, you have every right to say whatever you believe. I do not, for the most part, disagree. But America's position is not solely based on military and economic power, but also on a moral view which we managed to maintain through a couple of world wars. It would, no dought, be easier to condone torture to get information, or just for fun. But we, as a nation, long ago decided we were more than that. Sadly, our leaders often forget what is is they claim to defend.
